I graduated from the University of Nevada, Reno with a Bachelor’s Degree in English, and then later while working and living in Sacramento for a few years, I attended MTI College where I obtained my Associate’s Degree in Paralegal Studies.
Prior to joining this family law team in 2015, I worked in corporate bankruptcy, contract, and environmental law. I find that the link between bankruptcy and family law- helping others when they’re feeling near rock bottom- fuels the passion behind my work every day.
Most of our divorce clients that come to see us are in a place of disbelief and confusion. It is my job to help guide them through the rough waters of divorce and/or custody and support issues. I take extreme pride in making a very difficult life situation a little bit easier for our clients. Paralegals at this firm are highly experienced, caring, and compassionate towards our
client’s situation and, of course, we are backed up with the constant support of our attorneys. Marilyn York’s Men’s and Fathers’ Rights law office is one-of-a-kind unique. I have worked for many different law firms in various states, and the level of expertise, compassion, and care that goes into our cases is unlike anything I have ever experienced. It is an amazing place to work with incredible attorneys and staff. I have had many of our family law clients express the very same gratitude I have for this firm.
I’m also a busy wife and mom to three children and often found shuttling kids to and from softball and baseball practices, playing “Team Mom” on tournament weekends, or relaxing with my family at our favorite weekend escape, Donner Lake.
