FILE FORMS ONLINE; PRINT HARD COPIES FOR STAFF; PRINT TO .pdf AND STORE RECORDS

DO NOT EMAIL W-2 FORMS

Step 1:  Log on to online banking website. Under “Business Services” tab, select the message “Take care of business….” “Continue” (to another website – Intuit).

Step 2:  From prior step, screen above shows up with “To Do” tab selected; read messages; select W-2, Copies A & D (year 2015)

Step 3: From prior step, if screen above shows up; select “No”, “Continue”.

Step 4: From prior step, screen above shows up. Insure proper year is selected, select “View”.  W-2 copies A & D for Employer downloads to your Mac computer as .pdf. 

Step 5: Open that PDF and select from computer desktop menu “File”, “Export as PDF…”

Name the file, example:  “2015 W-2 D MDY corp.” and save (Where:) to your computer Desktop.

Open and look over PDF to insure employer copy of all employees W-2 Copy D’s are there and all ‘seem’ correct.

DO NOT EMAIL W-2 FORMS

Step 6: Go back to Intuit Online Payroll, to exit select browser back arrow, to continue select “Submit” to allow Intuit to file all W-2 Copy A’s with SSA.

Step 7:  Do not click “View” because you already did in an above step and already have a W-2 D MDY corp. pdf downloaded. Select “To Do List” or “Sign Out”.

Step 8: Save electronic files “2015 W-2 B, C, 2 MDY corp.” and “2015 W-2 D MDY corp.” somewhere special on your computer in case anyone needs a copy at a later date.

Step 9: Email Ray by precisely copying and pasting the following message to him:
        “I Submitted W-2’s to SSA via Intuit and I did not email copies.
         I disseminated Copies B, C & 2 to all wage earners via sneakerware (hoofing it, hand delivery) or U.S. mail”
