Jenna Strhan, Legal Assistant
I was born and raised in Anchorage Alaska, and moved to Reno for College. I graduated at UNR with a Bachelor's degree in Nutritional Science. I often am asked, how did you end up with a career in law after studying Nutrition? Honestly, the job just fell into my lap and it has been a perfect fit.
I spend a lot of my free time taking road trips and spending time with my dog. We love to hike and explore the Reno Tahoe Area in the summer. In the winter I love to curl up with a good book. My favorite road trip so far was driving back to Reno from Alaska. I did it with only my dog and it took us 4 days. I have a strong sense of independence and a huge love of adventure.
I’ve had previous experience as a Medical Clerk at a hospital and it's surprising how similar the two office experiences are, though Family Law quickly became something I am passionate about. Advocating for Men's Rights and their children has a very rewarding aspect to it. I think it is a brilliant way to uniquely provide a service that benefits the community. Working for Marilyn has been nothing short of wonderful. The ladies in the office have grown to be a family who support each other every day. I am very grateful to have been given the opportunity to work for Marilyn and her team and look forward to assisting the staff and clients for years to come.
